MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A bridge that connects Mount Pleasant and Sullivan’s Island has reopened to traffic Thursday after it experienced a malfunction.

The span on Old School Road, known as Ben's Bridge, has its own Facebook page. On the one-year anniversary of the closing, a few residents gathered to demonstrate their concern in losing the bridge.
