‘Marvel Rivals’ Immediately Reverts Mid-Season Change After Fan Revolt
Barely half a day since announcing ranked changes for the mid-season Marvel Rivals changeover, a mass protest by players led NetEase to ditch the idea entirely, while keeping the cosmetic rewards in place they had originally planned. It’s kind of stunned the community which wasn’t expecting this kind of result, and certainly not this quickly.

Shortly after the teaser trailer arrived, players began calling for Marvel Rivals skins based on the four characters’ suits in the movie. The suits worn by Pascal and Co. have a more retro style to match the movie’s 1960s aesthetic and are heavily inspired by the designs from the comics.
Players are eager for this cute character to join the Marvel Rivals roster, but they’d feel too guilty to eliminate them.
