State of São Paulo, Brazil - January 31, 2025 The city of Santos is buzzing with Neymar's return. The fans of Pelé's team have dusted off the jerseys of 'menino Ney' and have gathered this Friday outside the Vila Belmiro stadium to celebrate the forward's return twelve years later.

Neymar became Brazil’s captain in 2015 and in 2023, overtook Pele’s tally to become his country’s all-time highest scorer. He won the Confederations Cup in 2013, Olympic gold in 2016 and became Copa America runner-up in 2021.
