The PS/2-style port was once about as ubiquitous on PCs as USB connectors are today, and more than a few of us accumulated a fair collection of keyboards and mice that sported the 6-pin mini-DIN plug.

For some odd reason, Gigabyte has also included a PS/2 port on the motherboard, probably as a throwback to the original SOC Force lineup. Gigabyte is not the only company reviving legacy models, ...

My asus a7v133 gotta a strange malfunction. The ps2 port for keyboard is broken, it seems like there is always a keyboard connected to it cause strange pc speaker sounds come but without a sequence.
