Mandatory evacuations were ordered for the Sunset Fire, which was estimated at 10 acres. The evacuation zone is for Laurel Canyon Boulevard on the west; to Mulholland Drive on the north; to the 101 Freeway on the east. down to Hollywood Boulevard on the south.

The new blaze lit up near Runyon Canyon, which is in the vicinity of iconic Los Angeles locations and tourist destinations. No homes were said to be damaged.

Weary Los Angeles firefighters are dealing with a new fire that broke out Wednesday evening in the Hollywood Hills.

The Sunset Fire is the latest blaze to ravage Los Angeles. The fire, which began near Runyon Canyon on top of the Hollywood Hills, has burnt more than 60 acres of land. A mandatory evacuation order is in effect.
