Following the October 7, 2023, attacks, Jews around the world are connecting more and more to their Jewish identities, particularly by wearing the iconic Star of David.

The Star of David, called Magen David in Hebrew, was used by Jews in Prague as early as the 1600s. By the 1800s, it had come to be broadly associated with the Jewish population.
