SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Tommy Rees, the resourceful Notre Dame quarterback who reinvented himself as a dynamic young offensive coordinator at his alma mater, is leaving for a new challenge.

Rees played at Notre Dame from 2010 to 2013 with 7,351 yards and 61 touchdowns in his day. He’s risen quickly through the recruiting ranks, starting out at Northwestern.
