CANADOHTA LAKE — A short-lived tornado touchdown left minor damages to homes in Canadohta Lake but serves as a reminder of the effects of severe weather.

On Monday, the National Weather Service confirmed that an EF-0 tornado swept right through Canadohta Lake, reaching winds up to 70 miles per hour.

The EF-1 tornado touched down just before 5:30 p.m. near Lake Buckhorn and was on the ground for three minutes, covering 1.32 miles. It had a maximum width of 80 yards and wind speed of 105 mph.
