Alabama ended the season last week with a disappointing loss to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

After Michigan's upset win over Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl, college football fans had some fun at the expense of the Crimson Tide.

As previously reported by the Detroit Free Press' Tony Garcia, senior safety Makari Paige did not travel to Tampa with Michigan for the ReliaQuest Bowl. Paige, who has a year of eligibility remaining, finished with 45 tackles, four broken-up passes and two interceptions this season.

Michigan’s defense sacked Jalen Milroe five times and forced three turnovers by the Alabama quarterback to lead the Wolverines to a 19-13 victory over the 11th-ranked Crimson Tide in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

Nobody with even a passing knowledge of college football would think that Alabama football beating Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl is real revenge. The Wolverines beat the Crimson Tide in the College Football Playoff’s Rose Bowl semifinal to end Nick Saban’s tenure and UA’s 2023 season on Jan. 1.
