Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard will retire from the NFL, he announced Wednesday. "In my heart, I know that I gave this game, this team, and this city everything that I had," Hubbard wrote on his social media platforms.

On Wednesday, Hubbard announced his NFL retirement, citing satisfaction with his playing career over being able to play for a team that he always "bled orange and black" for. Beyond the defensive accomplishments, Hubbard can hang his hat, knowing he finished his pro football days as a defender in the coolest possible way.
