San Diego County will be hit by a second wave of Santa Ana winds Thursday night and early Friday that will pose a greater wildfire threat than the gusts that whipped parts of the region early Wednesday,

After a lull of the strong gusts, forecasters say winds are expected to pick back up Thursday night, increasing the wildfire risk.

Dry conditions, gusty winds, and low relative humidity are all hitting San Diego County at the same time leading to critical fire concerns for the region.
