World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler said Monday that he yet to determine if he will be able to make his season debut at next week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Scheffler is recovering from surgery on his right hand, stemming from a Christmas Day mishap. He was initially forecasted to miss three to four weeks.

Scheffler had said at the start of the week the recovery was progressing well and he was eager to get back but that he wasn’t about to “rush back just to rush back.”

Scheffler, the world No. 1, underwent surgery on his right hand after a Christmas Day accident and hasn't competed since December.
