FREE UBER RIDES: As of Jan. 10, teens who fail their driver's test can get free rides from an Uber Teen account for a limited time.

Uber is offering young would-be drivers who flunked their driver’s exam free access to their services — with some restrictions. “Teens, we’ve got you covered until you can take your next test,” Uber said in a written statement.

The app Uber announced on Thursday that it would be offering free rides to teens who failed their driver’s license. The company announced on its website that it would offer free rides for a month to teens (ages 13-17) who did not pass their written or road test.

A failed drivers test may feels like the end of the world for teens, but Uber is offering support by offering a month free of rides to teens.

Customers in Atlanta and Austin, Texas, will be able to hail one of these driverless rideshare cars via the Uber app.
