The Indian dugout was in splits after Rohit Sharma was caught hitting Shubman Gill on his jaw playfully during the Chennai Test match. Kohli, Rohit and Shubman shared a light moment as India dominated Bangladesh on Day 2 in Chennai.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who began their international careers around the same time, initially struggled but showed promise early on. Their 146-run partnership in a 2008 tour match against Australia was a highlight.

Richard Kettleborough did a potential favour to Virat Kohli during a game against Bangladesh in World Cup 2023 as Kohli got to his century since the umpire did not give a wide call. The same duo was action again, but Kettleborough's decision cost Kohli his wicket this time.

However, the replays showed that Kohli actually got an inside edge on the ball and a DRS would have resulted in the umpire overturning his decision. Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma was visibly upset about Kohli not opting for the review and his reaction has gone viral on social media.
