Background: The third-generation ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) lorlatinib has significantly advanced the clinical management of advanced ALK-rearranged non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

The researchers evaluated alectinib and bevacizumab in the phase 2 ALEK-B trial (NCT03779191), which included 41 patients with treatment-naïve, metastatic, ALK-rearranged NSCLC.
