The Board of Governors unanimously approved three new university presidents, each with strong ties to Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Marva Johnson, a telecommunications executive, will become the 13th president of Florida A&M University, despite opposition from thousands of students and alumni.

During the BOG meeting, several FAMU alumni and students filled the room to express concerns regarding Johnson.
