A large asteroid could be heading toward Earth within the next decade, and there's a small chance it could strike the planet, according to NASA.
An asteroid first spotted in December has a 1.2% chance of hitting Earth in 2032. Scientists are tracking the space rock to learn more about its size and trajectory.
Further research might bring those odds down to zero, but we will likely have to wait a couple of years to know for sure ...
