I've been using Samsung DeX on the Galaxy S25 Ultra to see what's new about it. Unfortunately it's a wasted opportunity.

It also supports Samsung Pay - via both NFC and magnetic card emulation - Samsung's DeX desktop dock, fast wireless charging, memory cards, and 3.5mm headphones.

Samsung's Dex is also a cool software package that transforms the Android operating system on the Tab S8 Plus into a computer style operating system, like Windows. It's still running Android apps ...

The Galaxy Tab S8 was already getting the Android update ... some worthwhile interface improvements and a big performance boost if you use Samsung's DeX software for a more laptop-like experience.
