After tragic wildfires in Southern California, U.S. Soccer has taken a major decision over plans for a January training camp in Los Angeles for the U.S. women's national team and U-23s team

The USWNT is moving its January training camps to Florida, in the wake of the tragic wildfires that have ravaged Los Angeles, where 50 players were expected to report next week. The camps – one featuring senior squad members and another designed for under-23 prospects called “Futures Camp” – will still be be held concurrently but will now relocate to Inter Miami CF’s Florida Blue Training Center in Fort Lauderdale from Jan.

The United States women's national team's January training camp will now be held in Florida due to the Los Angeles wildfires, U.S. Soccer said on Friday.

The USWNT will hold senior-team and Futures camps in South Florida due to the uncertainty surrounding the wildfires in Los Angeles.
