Bill and Crissy Haslam have submitted a bid for a Nashville WNBA franchise, which would be called the Nashville Summitts.

Nashville's WNBA bid isn't guaranteed to succeed, but it's difficult to see how this effort that checks boxes and tugs at heartstrings could fail.
