A teen is facing a manslaughter charge after fatally shooting his passenger inside a vehicle Monday night in Far North Dallas, police said. Police responded at about 11 p.m. to a shooting call in the 17500 block of Dallas Parkway, near Hilton Head Drive. Officers found a person had been shot in a vehicle, according to a Tuesday news release.

A 36-year-old man was killed in a shooting Monday night in Lake Highlands, Dallas police say. Officers were dispatched about 10:10 p.m. to the 7300 block of Skillman Street, near Walnut Hill Lane, where they found Armando Gamboa had been shot inside a vehicle. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, and Gamboa was pronounced dead at the scene.
