At Samsung Unpacked S25, Samsung showed off an AI-curated “Now Brief” that transforms the lock screen into a daily report.

Samsung has built up a substantial collection of artificial intelligence tricks, features and apps. While some of them have been impressive, like live translation and annotation, others (often involving generative AI) aren’t actually helpful — or notable — enough to warrant regular use.

We got a first look at the Galaxy S25 line and learned about Samsung -- and Google's -- AI advancements. Samsung's putting a lot more eggs in its AI basket this year, offering minimal hardware updates in favor of embedding the capabilities more deeply into its Samsung One UI 7 ( in beta since early December) and Android 15.
