Rising technology stocks helped U.S. indexes recover more of their holiday-season slide that bridged the new year. The S&P 500 climbed 0.6% Monday, its second straight gain following five straight losses.

The Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF, which holds Nvidia, Apple Inc., Microsoft Corp, Google parent Alphabet Inc., Amazon.com Inc., Tesla Inc. and Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc, was up 2.3%, according to FactSet data, at last check. That exceeded the S&P 500’s 1.3% rise.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will be the keynote speaker at CES tonight. Foxconn delivered record-setting results, fueled by demand for AI. Despite being near record highs, Nvidia stock is still reasonably priced.
