Most spots in West Michigan and the southern tier of the Lower Peninsula saw between an inch and 1.5 inches of rain fall in Sunday’s system. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Grand Rapids issued a rain map this afternoon, showing Sunday’s totals.

Denver is under a red flag warning Monday morning and strong winds expected throughout the day will rapidly grow any fire activity, National Weather Service forecasters said. Central Colorado, including Denver,

High winds and dry conditions will persist over the Front Range and Eastern Plains on Monday in the Denver weather forecast. Along with mountain snow, Monday is a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day.

High winds across the Front Range will lead to near-critical fire weather along all of I-25. While this is going on, snow will be dumping across I-70 with winds to 50MPH creating treacherous travel.

Even as the second round of snow to hit Colorado’s mountains in the last week winds down Sunday morning, a third wave is expected to arrive in the evening, according to National Weather Service forecasters.
