Apr 2, 2024 · Since a few days ago (roughly around the time of the Plasma 6.0.3 upgrade on Arch Linux, I think), Dolphin hasn’t been showing any thumbnails at all anymore: The relevant previews are checked in the Dolphin settings, I’ve tried disabling and reenabling those as well.

For me, it worked by going into the games directory and putting an image with the same name as the game title, except without the file extension, and with .cover and then the file extension of the image. Example: GAME.wad ----> GAME.cover.png. I hope this helps!

Jan 17, 2024 · When I play a game through dolphin emulator it shows the dolphin emulator as my most recent played game, I have seen others have managed to have the thumbnail of the actual game they have been playing show up instead. No idea how to do it though. Download EmuDeck & use Steam ROM Manager. Steam Rom Manager is one answer here.
