Basically, if the only difference in paying $20 on OpenAI vs Poe is the plugins, and really only the plugin that allows Internet access for up-to-date information. If Poe doesn't have Internet access, then it's got to be GPT. For the record, I have next to zero experience with GPT 4 or Poe.

Poe's key advantages are more models and ability to run server bots. However, these advantages are paling because of Poe's own decisions. Poe is putting limits on free messages even for ChatGpt and Claude Instant. It hurts us creators because people are unable to test the bots sufficiently affecting conversions.

I decided to submit the same prompt to both bots to compare the responses. I assumed they would be same since I didn’t think Poe changed anything when using GPT-4 through their app/site.

However, I've also used Poe and liked the fact that it offers multiple bots in the free version with limited messages per day, but with the paid version the limit is increased and we get GPT4 plus Claude2 100k and others too.

Have been using poe (paid) for a while and it makes sense for me with chatgpt being temperamental. I can switch between the pro models from various vendors easily when one model does not give me a good response. I also noticed that for me, Claude opus and Gemini pro give me great results. Haven't had to use chatgpt for a while.
