What I'd change is giving an update frequency setting to the users, like many other programs do. E.g. check daily, weekly, monthly etc. The current system does generate a lot of updates indeed, and if there's a busy day for the devs, users experimenting with crashy games get a new update on every crash, which can be disabled of course, but a ...

in RPCS3, there is "File" --> "Install .pkg". Choose the update .pkg file from file selection window, then your game update will be now installed to the game. *Edit, I do not know if drag and drop works but if it does, that's great. I just haven't tried that method and always chose "File" --> "Install .pkg" from RPCS3 menu.

Jan 13, 2021 · This has happened on my end. Some files tend to get corrupted and the emulator will not run after an emulator update. Without looking at the log file. My recommendation is to save the save game file. Located at (emulator)\dev_hdd0\home\00000001\savedata. Do a copy and paste to a random safe location.

Feb 17, 2021 · Been using and updating RPCS3 regularly for months now to play NCAA 14. A week ago it asked if I wanted to update, and after clicking to update, i get this message: E UPDATER: Failed to rename E UPDATER: 7z decoder error: 11 I left out the middle part stating my file path to RPCS3.
