Fingerprint reader location on Acer products

Acer Swift 3 SF314-512 - Finger print and Camera Not working
WEBLooking at the part of the laptop where it is located it looks as though it's a sticker with no actual sensor there (it's not hollow) just a see-through sticker with a fingerprint design. The Camera which was initially working no longer works and I can't find it in the device manager.
