EA Play via XGPU - Unable to Download Games via EA/Xbox
I purchased xbox pass today and I wanted to play some games that are in the EA pass (xbox pass includes ea pass ) However when I start the ea app FROM the xbox app (the 2 are correctly linked, I can see my account in both xbox acc and the ea app) I dont have any option to download the game , just to buy it .

If you bought EA Play on Steam, it wouldn't be active on the EA app. Steam and the EA app serve as two different entities, and the EA Play subscription you bought on Steam is not valid on the EA app. To use EA Play on the EA app also, you have to purchase it there directly.

Dec 26, 2024 · The Xbox app on my Windows laptop works perfectly, apart from EA play via the EA app using the PC Game Pass. This is beyond frustrating as I (and Microsoft) have followed all instructions and guidance. It would appear that the account, when being setup by Xbox/EA has been done incorrectly.
