Jan 14, 2024 · So I have the recenlty rebuilt airbox waiting to be sold when I complete the big project, which is a zero time northpoint xp-4 70-50, seaplanes west mount, new selkirk cowling, and new carb and newer style airbox. Once I'm back in the air, I'll resell all my like-new parts - rebuilt airbox and knisely exhaust with about 50 hours on it.

Apr 20, 2012 · I used the M 20 Separator on my Taylorcraft with the o200 And it definitely worked well . No more oily belly or extreme oil consumption It allowed me to run 6 quarts of oil in the summer which kept the engine much cooler and I never lost any of it. Realize that doesn't answer any questions about the air wolf Seperator but I would like to hope ...

Aeropod manufactures the rudder bellcrank inspection covers that go on top, but it seems that the jackscrew inspection cover that goes on the bottom (reference service kit SK185-27) is hard to find. Luckily my airplane already has this installed, but I see a lot of guys looking.

Feb 19, 2009 · Well, I found out what the material is for the airbox valve. It is the T-8071 fiberglass mesh, Silicone Engine Baffle material. It's manufactured by Brown Aircraft in Florida. The T-8071 has a temperature window of -60F to +550F degrees. It is available in a 1/8th in. thick pebbled finish or 3/32nd in. smooth.

It is designed to mount between the baffle and the oil cooler to allow airflow regulation when the engine oil temperature is too cold. With cable control and hardware its around $125.00. Of course it is intended for experimental aircraft.

Jan 4, 2015 · I grew up in DLG and flew with the old Yute Air to school sporting events and yearly beach trips etc. They had quite the menagerie of planes back then DC-3, Otter, Goose, Widgeon and of course the Sleds. Even flew for the operation for a bit in the mid 90's when Johnson was running the show. Sad to see it go.

I've run them on Huskys (a lot lighter than a 180, FYI) at 15 psi. As noted by sierrasplitter, ANY time you run tires at relatively low pressures, you MUST check tire pressures frequently.
