do we have any guesses as to when FF7 Rebirth is comeing to PC?
As much as I want them to release the ff7 Rebirth PC port (Steam) asap, they won’t do it until they’ve milked enough sales from the PS5. Expect a year to 18 months when sales for the PS5 have significantly dipped. I’m waiting for the PC port because I want to stay on one platform and don’t want to double dip.

Feb 7, 2024 · Just watched the FFVII rebirth state of play ( looks amazing) and noticed at the very end of the presentation the final slide said " not available on other platforms until at least 29/05/2024, am hoping that means a summer PC release !

This is a rough estimate but based on Remake's PC release date I'd say we might see Rebirth on PC sometime in 2026 🥹 BUT I think SE might reconsider and release it earlier due to how successful this game has been. This is all speculation though.

Maybe they were waiting to finish the PS5 upgrade before porting to PC. This would make the port of Rebirth faster since its main target is already the PS5. Maybe they were also waiting for the release of planed DLC(s) before porting to PC so they could make a definitive package with all the content and all the fixes/optimizations.

They have to make the PC versions for XVI and VIIRb first. I also think they are going to take their time because the PC port of VIIRm was bullshit and made a lot of people mad. I think Yoshi-P said there won't even be a large marketing push for XVI before PC release so these things kinda just happen on a timescale we aren't privy to.

Sep 7, 2023 · Final fantasy is a flagship for square Enix, and they have exclusivity deals with Sony. My guess is rebirth will drop on PC either around the time it gets a DLC or a year or two after the DLC. It took a few years for remake to drop on PC.
