Feel Good Story 😍 This afternoon, the ZooTampa Manatee Care Team returned the first rehabilitated manatee of 2022! During the last 48 hours, three manatees (Vie, Paddington and Pokey) were returned to Florida waters after a combined 34 months of rehabilitation and expert care at ZooTampa’s David A Straz Jr Manatee Critical Care Center. All three manatees were rescued in St. Petersburg by MyFWC Florida Fish and Wildlife after they were found suffering from cold stress last winter.
