Been catching heaps of squid whenever I’m not chasing snapper. Yesterday Cooper and I got away from the boats and found a cracking patch of Port Phillip Bay squid all to ourselves. I’m no expert, but I like hunting them in super-shallow water where they’re likely laying eggs—safe spots away from predators. We steered clear of the usual haunts, ran 2.5-size green-and-white jigs on the slow tide, and made short work of them. Think I’m gonna grab a new outboard motor definitely staying with #Mercur
