We were fixing one of our pheasant pens up and we found this little guy hiding in the grass. 🦌 The wire on the outside of the pen was too tall for him to jump over so we had to lift him over and out. His mom was on the outside! I think that she gave birth to him inside of the pen and then he just couldn’t get out. 😳 | Pete’s Pheasant Farm

Emptied out this pen yesterday. Our process for catching is janky, but hey, it works 😆 We push the birds into a dark building, put on a red headlamp, and catch away. Saves both us and the birds the stress of chasing them around a big pen with a net. | Pete’s Pheasant Farm
