Lovely Jersey cow, Bunny, had a gorgeous heifer calf during the early hours. Labour was very slow and the water bag broken after a couple of hours Bunny still wasn’t pushing and I was concerned about the lack of progression. I reached in and felt that the calf was still alive and in the right position just not coming out so I pulled her out not wanting to take any risks by leaving it any longer. Calf is good but 24hrs later Bunny is out of sorts, now waiting for the vet. | The Calf at Foot Dairy
