Recently, we had eleven Schnauzers arrive at our kennel without a lot of notice. Two of them have been selected for adoption, but our adoptions counselor has let us know something sad. The others have had nearly zero interest because, according to would-be adopters, they’re “not the right color” or “not the right age” or “not the right temperament.” This is truly disappointing because these pups can’t help any of this stuff. All they know is they are rescued and deserve a loving home. So please
