To me, what makes my white chocolate mud cake stand out is the texture. It’s dense like you want a mud cake to be but not stodgy. It’s buttery, soft and moist and the white chocolate buttercream pairs so well with it. In my testing, I really honed in on making sure the texture was right, but also that you get a good boost of white chocolate flavour which is harder than I thought it would be.
