We get this question all the time: “Why don’t you use rebar instead of PVC end caps for your PVC dome hoophouse?” Well… we’ve tried it! And yes, rebar works great for holding things in place. But the tradeoff is convenience. Our hinged lid design makes it so easy to get in and out whenever we need to check on plants, water, or harvest - no prying poles out of the ground or wrestling with stuck pipes.
